Welcome

My name is Kurtis Chiappone -- welcome to my personal website. I'm 25 years old, I have a BS and MS in Computer Science, and I am a software developer working in wireless telecommunications. In my spare time, I run a freelance web development company called Refined Web Design. When I'm not making websites, I enjoy programming, blogging about computer science, playing the guitar, piano, basketball, watching movies, and generally just hanging out. The reason I put this site up is to bring together my other websites, as well as to serve as a place to share some of my projects and photos. A Short Bio

I grew up and still live in Bayonne, New Jersey. As a child I attended Midtown Community School (class of '99) and later Bayonne High School (class of '03). In 2003, I started a freelance web development business called Refined Web Design, which I still operate today. Following my interest in computers, I completed my Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from NJCU in '07 and then my Master of Science in Computer Science from NJIT in May '09. During my studies at NJIT, I started a blog about computer science, and three months after graduation I began working as a software developer for a major wireless telecommunications company. I have a wonderful girlfriend of three years named Glenny (who just finished her Master's in Counseling at NJCU), and I also [try to] help raise her lhasa-apso, Tinkerbell, employing techniques as seen on "The Dog Whisperer" (despite the disclaimer saying not to). And now that you have enough information to steal my identify, I think I will end it here :).
